Upon reaching home, I saw snacks and presents lying about the 'deposit heavy bags' area. At first, I had simply brush it off as my sibling's classmate's birthday. Walking pass that messy area, I saw more snacks and gift wrappers. That's when it hit me.
The calendar. The calendar will show '1st October; Childrens' Day' tomorrow. No wonder.
Unlike them, I had gone through a normal school day. Dull.
This brings back memories. The most vivid, etched in my mind was when I was in Primary 5. The day before Childrens' Day, our teacher warned us.
"You have a whole stack of homework to complete..." (I think these were his words, though I might be wrong). He even raised his hands and estimated how much 'homework' we will get. The naive me believed it, and got crestfallen. That is, until our form teacher bought out McDonald meals for us.
Haha, what a way to surprise me!
Anyway, dear readers (inclusive of f.i.f.i.), have a great holiday. ^^
